Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards

  • Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation

  • Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts

  • Conducts and coordinates quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness

  • Performs QA activities including executing on controls, managing cases, and reporting results

  • Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success

  • Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting

Position Summary

Responsible for projects limited in scope to LOB products, processes, or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches, and facilitating implementation. Responsible for clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key project roles. Assesses the adoption risk associated with the change effort. Communicate risks and rewards associated with decisions and actions to stakeholders in business-oriented terms and ensure all controls are in place to sustain risk mitigation. Identifies, develops, and executes strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral changes. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically, 5+ plus years of project management experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • End-to-end Program/Project Management of large programs/projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business with cross-functional implications.

  • Ability to translate requirements into executable project plans while ensuring compliance with Enterprise Change Standards.

  • Plans and coordinates project deliverables across multiple service providers in support of project requirements. 

  • Report development and data management experience with Tableau or other Reporting Tools

  • Responsible for communicating and navigating across delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders and managing the necessary forums and steering groups to support the work.

  • Plans, organizes, monitors, and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

  • Facilitates discussions to identify and manage risks and remove roadblocks.

  • Provides transparency through the identification and management of interdependencies, issues, and risks.

  • Highly organized, ability to simultaneously prioritize tasks and handle numerous time-sensitive issues.

  • Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business executives on deliverables, timelines and support needed.

  • 5+ years of technical and process program/change management.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives, driving timely decisions.

  • Ability to communicate/coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders and executives.

  • Strong communicator, ability to concisely communicate complex information.

  • Results oriented, independently driven, self-motivated.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.

  • Experience with Business Continuity and related principles/standards.

  • Access database (coding) a must.

  • MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Power Point, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
