Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Position Summary

Power 2021 U.S. Banking Mobile App Satisfaction Study and the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Online Banking Satisfaction Study.1 We earned additional recognition by J.D. Power as #1 in Customer Satisfaction with Retail Banking Advice. We are looking to hire a talented iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end iOS applications for the latest Apple mobile devices. Your duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store.

To ensure success as an iOS Engineer, you should have a strong working knowledge of iOS Frameworks, be proficient in Objective-C, Swift & Swift UI and be able to work as part of a team. Ultimately, an outstanding iOS developer should be able to create functional, attractive applications that perfectly meet the needs of the user. Typically requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.

Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.

Proven experience as an app developer.

Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI.

Designing and building native mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.

Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks and integrating vendor app SDK’s.

Knowledge of iOS back-end services.

Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.

Collaborating with the design team to define app features.

Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.

Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.

Fixing application bugs before the final release.

Publishing application on App Store.

Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.

Designing and implementing application updates.

Desired Skills

California pay and benefits information

California pay range:

$100,700 - $180,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
