Job Description:
Contributes to programs/projects specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Assesses the adoption risk associated with the change effort. Identifies, develops and executes strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral changes. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for tracking project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Experience with BAC Change and Project Management tools and processes. Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed from them. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 1-3 plus years of project or program management support experience.
Team Overview
Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities they build address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing their activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.
Role Overview
The Release Train Engineer will lead Agile/JIRA adoption for a portfolio of tests focused on data testing (testing that evaluates enterprise data across the Bank’s data lifecycle, including capture, transport, and use, and provides critical insights into data accuracy, completeness and fitness for purpose, as well as the data health of bank data domains and in-scope processes and controls). The role entails establishing and implementing a framework for the use of Agile/Kanban techniques such as Value Stream. The candidate will utilize JIRA & Agile concepts to drive out timely and efficient execution of testing deliverables. The Release Train Engineer is responsible for establishing testing project plans, identifying and managing dependencies, and providing ongoing visibility into progress against deliverables. The candidate will promote agile principles and mindset through coaching, and enable continuous improvement across multiple scrum teams. The Release Train Engineer is responsible for escalating and resolving impediments to delivery and managing resources and capacity accordingly.
