Job Description:
Provide advice and guidance to FAs for the personal retirement suite of products. This includes proactive outreach and reactive sales support. Role partners with FA and Retirement Specialist to cover an assigned territory. The role provides education as well as advice and guidance on meeting clients needs for retirement solutions, and also includes a focus on generating new client opportunities and assisting in the revenue development of the territory.
Responsibilities
The Personal Retirement Sales Desk Specialist serves as a technical resource for Merrill advisors. The role acts as a business partner who will help advisors implement retirement income and investing solutions. The role is responsible for driving sales in a dedicated territory in collaboration with external and internal partners. This role entails sourcing retirement and annuity opportunities, positioning solutions with clients, working with wealth management leadership, presenting firm concepts to branches and working with the firm’s third-party insurance partners.
