Job Description:

Thoroughly understand and possess SME level experience with Citrix and Citrix Published Application. Provide senior level Tier 3 technical infrastructure support services for issues, ensure reliable operation of production, and help diagnose. Help manage the associated applications and remediation of RISE deliverables associated with the platform. Maintain a high degree of ownership and transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • 8+ years of experience working in virtualization and EUC related fields as an engineer or architect

  • Management and support skills in a large corporate enterprise consisting of 100,000+ endpoints

  • Experience with the architecture/design of a VMware Horizon environment with 40,000 concurrent users

  • Experience with the architecture/design of F5 load balancing (APM, LTM)

  • Thorough understanding of platform performance analysis, telemetry, and performance related troubleshooting

  • Strong experience implementing best practices in an end user environment

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments

  • Experience operating, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the virtual infrastructure to include virtual servers and virtual desktops using VMware technology.

  • Designing, Installing, configuring and maintaining a scalable and high availability virtual environment utilizing VMware Horizon View 7.x with AppVols, User Environment Manager, and ThinApp * Design, management and administration of Citrix XenAPP 6.x & 7.x.

  • Thorough understanding of Application Publishing process and challenges

  • Understanding of VMware vROPS/V4H in the desktop environment

  • Understand how to use PowerCLI to manage virtual machines and virtual infrastructure

  • Ability to leverage Powershell as a conduit for automation and issue analysis Workspace and Collaboration.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas: Collaboration Technologies (O365, Email, Skype, Cisco WebEx, SharePoint), Mobility Technologies (Intune, AirWatch) , Laptop Asset/Patch Management (SCCM, Jamf, etc..) • Single Sign-on (Ping, SAML, etc..), Security Baselines , Core Workspace Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services), Cloud Storage (OneDrive), Computer Workspace Lifecycle Management (Upgrade management for Windows, OSX), Virtualization Technologies (VMware, Citrix, etc..)

Desired Skills

Experience in creating Blueprints, publishing catalogs, creating and configuring vRA and vRO workflows, vRO integration with external systems and 3rd party tools through API/CLI

This job is responsible for defining the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack. This job will align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams. Key responsibilities include engaging in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues and creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise standards. Job expectations include providing and contributing to improvements in solution design, testing, and delivery practices.
