Settlement Officer I, Estate Settlement, Private Bank -


Accountable for administering modest book of smaller and/or uncomplicated probate estates and/or terminating trusts requiring technical experience and knowledge in estate and trust administration. Responsible for assisting senior officer(s) with the administration of more complex matters. Responsible for coordinating information with external partners (Attorneys and CPAs), and internal support partners (Tax, Compliance, Real Estate, BITS, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration, and to manage risk. Participates in sales calls as needed, offering Settlement expertise. Will involve responsibility for coaching, developing, and mentoring Settlement Administrators. Maintains high quality communications with beneficiaries, with focus on client satisfaction and asset retention. Non-licensed associate.

Rhode Island pay range:

$62,300 - $82,800 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
