Process Overview*

Global Wholesale Banking Technology (GWBT) comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe.  The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.

Job Description:

This role will be responsible for analysis, design, development, and unit testing for various enhancement projects /Programs for EMEA Tech Applications. Key responsibilities including performing requirements analysis, Providing the design and solution and Development changes to programs for the initiative EMEA tech projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team on program changes
• Drive design creation and solution for the assigned projects/Programs
• Perform impact analysis and share impacted components/programs with the scrum team
• Actively participate in the scrum ceremonies and drive all development activities.
• Perform Unit testing and create unit test plan and unit test results
• Work closely with the QA team on the identified bugs/defects and provide appropriate fix and resolution.
• Participate in the PI planning and the scrum ceremonies.
• Work closely with various project stakeholders and drive development meetings and discussions.
• Drive design walkthroughs with various stakeholders
• Perform Peer reviews and share code review comments and improvements to the developers in the scrum team
• Work on quality standards and adhere to code quality standards
  Review the scope and dependencies throughout the project delivery.
• Provide technical oversight and review the implementation plan and Technical checkouts
• Lead detailed execution of projects at every level - Requirements gathering, technical design, build and quality assurance.
• Support postproduction technical checkouts and validations
• Provide support on the post product issues and observation post go live of the projects.

Requirements

B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA

Certifications (if any):

Experience Range: 6- 8 Years

Foundational Skills:

• Should have Experience between 6 to 8 years.
• Strong Payments & Banking domain expertise.
• Mainframe - COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, API, and tools like Expeditor, Changeman, GIT bucket, Horizon, File manager, File Aid
• Technology knowledge/ strength in emerging technologies
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient time management and prioritization skills
• Self-driven personality rather than being told what to do.
• Good eye for talent
• Guides projects through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and reporting.
• Schedules and facilitates regular meetings to review progress and status, and adhoc topics; formulates agendas and documents minutes, action items.

Desired skills:

• Experience in working in SAFe methodologies.
• Good working knowledge in Agile teams
• Experience working on Payment’s application or banking application

Work Timings:  10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST
