Job Description:


This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.

Job Description:

The role of Infrastructure Lead involves designing infrastructure tools and services within technical domains, adhering to architectural standards and policies.  Responsibilities include leading deployment efforts, maintaining solution templates and utilizing playbooks for automation during implementation.  The job also requires expertise in technical domains, issue decomposition and promoting exceptional design and engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutions.

  • Contribute to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains.

  • Review and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes.

  • Review and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption.

  • Mentor and assist Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.

  • Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.

Skills:

  • Ability to analyse complex problems, identify patterns and make informed decision based on data and evidence.

  • Proficiency in designing, coding testing and maintain software applications.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining production systems t ensure smooth operations.

  • Capability to create effective and scalable solutions that address business needs.

  • Knowledge of automating repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

  • Competency in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Expertise in formulating and aligning technical strategies and organizational goals.
