Job Description

This role is for the APAC equities COO team covering APAC equities trading.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring governance for the APAC equities cash and derivatives trading desks
  • Working closely with APAC equities trading desk heads on business strategies and product development
  • Coordinate between the trading desks and enterprise control functions to ensure the businesses is run effectively and responsibly in adherence with policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and the risk framework.
  • Represent as delegate for the trading desk for governance routines, targeted assessments, internal audits, regulatory exams.
  • Manage regulatory change and remediation projects as when required.
  • Support management routines that effectively support business needs including but not limited to expenses approval, system access, trading books review, approved product list and remote booking.
  • Participate in any other ad-hoc projects related to APAC Equities and regional COO teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Minimum 5 years analytics work experience in the financial industry, with good knowledge of the Equities business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills, project management orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills, ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization
