Job Description:
The Financial Wellness Specialist deepens relationships with corporate clients by delivering education to employees through seminars and one-on-one consultations. Topics include Retirement, Budgeting, Education Planning as well as Retirement Plan Utilization. Financial Wellness Specialists help employees maximize the benefits of their plan while addressing broader financial priorities and providing an implementation plan, as needed. Financial Wellness Specialists travel approximately 80% of their work schedule. Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) required and Insurance licenses desired.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate events virtually, locally and nationwide as client needs require, as well as conduct one-on-one consultations
  • Prepare for all meetings in advance and understand audience, culture of company, employee demographics, etc.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Consultants on strategies for effective delivery of select client events (i.e. in person meetings, webinars, benefit fairs, etc.)
  • Support multiple enterprise initiatives by encouraging meeting participants to take action with effective presentation and consultation tactics

Required Skills:

  • Series 7 and Series 66 (or ability to obtain within required timeline); 63 & 65 are acceptable in lieu of 66

Desired Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of the retirement business at 5-7 years’ experience
  • Certified Retirement Plan Counselor designation

California pay and benefits information

California pay range:

$98,500 - $110,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
