General Job Description:
Manages medium-large Financial Solutions projects and/ or leads a segment of large, complex projects. Manages the research of existing operations, procedures, accounting transactions, workflow, product and service requirements. Directs the analysis of assembled data to define problems associated with project scope and help determine the appropriate financial system solution. Directs project parameters, cost and resource estimates. Works closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the bank's financial solutions and associated operations.

Specific Job Description:

The CFO Automation Strategy and Execution (ASE) team is part of the CFO COO Change group. This team is involved in various analytics, automation and reporting & governance needs that helps the CFO group analyze and address key challenges & provide relevant solutions using emerging technology or any other relevant technologies. The team provides deep dive analysis by deploying analytics and data mining tools like SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva etc. as well as is involved in setting up automated solutions for complex BAU processes.

The Automation Analyst position will be responsible to drive CFO's execution and governance of automation projects and to help drive CFO Strategic Vision around new technologies, change, and improving the organization to support Responsible Growth.  This role will involve working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and control functions across CFO.

This role is a key individual contributor role and responsible to:

  • Applies critical thinking, analytical skills, and thoughtful, fact-based approach to solve complex problems.
  • Effective communication skills; able to communicate complex ideas in a clear manner to a diverse array of audiences.
  • Hand-on experience building automation workflows, data processes, and visualization dashboards with expert level knowledge of key tools and systems including Alteryx, Tableau, Workiva, SharePoint and SQL
  • Develop high quality deliverables (automation software, technical documentation, and testing)
  • Supporting the development of an automation opportunity assessment framework and an associated automation tool selection criteria to ensure right tools are applied to the right opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders across CFO Line of business and technology to ensure collaborative progression through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Coach and council team members around end user automation tools and governance

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years Finance experience
  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of one or more tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, Workiva, Power Query, Visual Basic, SQL and SAS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must have good organizational, project management and communications skills
  • Good documentation skills to capture test results and report
  • A strong desire to learn and drive operational excellence
  • Experience partnering with technology teams and other stakeholders on change management initiatives
  • Knowledge of BAC Spreadsheet, Model, and other applicable policies; Agile Development methodology and working with teams across multiple geographies

Desired Qualifications:
