Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a portfolio of middle market relationships who need financial services and products to meet their needs.

  • Operate as the primary bank advocate and key financial advisor for the relationship, as well as being accountable for prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships.

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities.

  • Mentor and coach the junior hires in the team.

  • Drive client conversations along with product partners per client requirements.

  • Assess and analyze financial conditions of middle-market relationships and industry trends.

  • Understand and interpret financial statements, especially cash flow statements.

  • Conduct client conversations at CEO/CFO level to retrieve business information and assess any potential financial, operational, or reputational risk.

  • Coordinate with key team members in analysis and execution for effective delivery of products and services to clients and prospects by utilizing knowledge in Treasury (payments, receivables, liquidity management, and international), Risk management (Fx Hedging), and Credit (Interpretation of Financial Statements).

  • Define systems scope, objectives and functionality based on user input and assessing business processes and industry requirements.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related; and

  • 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.

  • Must include 6 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Assessing and analyzing financial conditions of middle-market relationships and industry trends;

  • Understanding and interpreting financial statements, especially cash flow statements;

  • Conducting client conversations at CEO/CFO level to retrieve business information and assess any potential financial, operational, or reputational risk;

  • Coordinating with key team members in analysis and execution for effective delivery of products and services to clients and prospects by utilizing knowledge in Treasury (payments, receivables, liquidity management, and international), Risk management (Fx Hedging), and Credit (Interpretation of Financial Statements); and,

  • Defining systems scope, objectives and functionality based on user input and assessing business processes and industry requirements.

  • The Employer will accept 3 years of academic study towards a Bachelor’s degree in any field and 2 years of finance experience to meet the degree requirement.

  • 50% domestic travel, as necessary.

New York pay range:

$225,000 - $235,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
