Job Description:
This job is responsible for overall portfolio or product set performance and asset quality and may include credit approval authority. Key responsibilities include focusing on but not limited to credit, market, and reputational risk; as well as adherence to credit risk policies and external/internal reporting, including but not limited to Top of House (TOH) and Line of Business (LOB) specific reports or regulatory related reporting. Job expectations include having detailed knowledge of regulatory issues and providing expertise on highly complex transactions to business/support partners.
The GLP Manager will be part of a global team that is responsible for managing the loan portfolio of Global Corporate and Investment Banking, and will have direct responsibility for a combination of GCIB Industry Sectors as part of a team of seasoned professionals who work closely together and strive to provide our clients with optimal capital solutions wile optimizing returns across our banking relationships. The GLP Manager will play a critical role working with corporate and investment banking, underwriting and product partners across capital markets, global markets and transaction services discussing loan pricing and helping driving improved performance by deepening client relationships.
GLP’s primary responsibilities include ownership & optimization of P&L, capital and liquidity of GCIB’s core loan book, balance risk & reward, ownership of the Capital Review Council, management of loan portfolio profitability through portfolio management, manage roll-forward forecasting and provide input to Finance’s baseline forecasts and provide advisory and thought leadership on Loan product to GCIB coverage.
