The Team:

International Liquidity Management is part Global Liquidity Management (GLM) team, a division of Corporate Treasury. The International team is responsible for managing the liquidity requirements of Bank of America’s International subsidiaries and branches, on both a day to day and strategic basis.

The role is based in London where there are 14 members of the GLM team. More broadly, GLM has teammates in the US, Brazil, Paris, Dublin, Hong Kong and Japan.

Responsibilities:

Primary purpose of the role is to lead liquidity management practices for MLI, BAC’s primary Broker Dealer outside of the US; and BANA London, the UK Branch of the primary US Bank. Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring liquidity risks relating to the firm’s business activities

  • Leading enhancement and development of liquidity stress testing assumptions

  • Working with the lines of businesses to determine near, medium and long term liquidity and funding requirements

  • Analyse new business initiatives and products to assess their liquidity and funding risks

  • Interpret and respond to new regulations impacting liquidity

  • Lead presentations to various risk and management committees

  • Lead dialogue with senior managers or regulators

  • Support other ad hoc projects within International GLM

  • Develop and implement global and regional liquidity management policies

  • Lead International GLM efforts for Traded Products Liquidity program

  • Supervise a team of three

What we are looking for:

  • Deep understanding of liquidity management and liquidity regulation

  • Experience within a similar role within financial services / banking

  • Ability to lead and manage a team

  • Energetic and self-motivated

  • Intellectual curiosity

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
