Role Description:

The Global Vendor Finance business at Bank of America provides wholesale vendor finance solutions to equipment manufacturers, distributors and resellers across EMEA.  The business is seeking a highly motivated, experienced vendor finance sales professional to drive growth in the business.  Primary activities of the role will include:  

  • Originating new vendor finance programs with prospective vendors in the EMEA region;

  • Expanding existing US-originated vendor finance programs into the EMEA region;

  • Managing existing vendor finance programs with accountability for all aspects of the vendor relationship – overall account strategy, deepening relationships and maximizing share of wallet. 

Responsibilities:   

  • Work closely with relationship managers to establish vendor finance programs with BofA corporate banking clients

  • Work with US-based teammates to identify and execute international expansion of US-originated programs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional platform to deliver industry-best service to vendor clients

  • End to end ownership of both programs and individual transactions

  • Service and deepen client relationships and maximize share of wallet

What we are looking for:                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

  • Deep expertise and experience in vendor finance, preferably with a large, regulated financial institution 

  • In-depth knowledge of vendor program structure, design and documentation

  • Expertise in credit, legal/contracts, structuring, finance, accounting, pricing and documentation

  • Attention to detail, and an ability to identify and address transactional issues

  • In-depth industry and market knowledge including competitive environment, economic conditions, client behaviour and market trends

  • Comprehensive understanding of the current regulatory environment, and ability to operate in a compliant manner

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Travel 20%
