Process Overview*

Bank is governed by complex policy frameworks. The process revolves around building a robust governance structure to ensure policy adherence across enterprise. Bank of America EDSGO will stand-up a new centralized reporting structure, leveraging offshore resources to execute BAU Common Process Metrics and Reporting.

Job Description*

Reporting Analyst - shall be an integral role in the newly formed new centralized reporting structure within the (EDSGO)Enterprise Data Strategy, Governance and Operations organization. The primary responsibility would be around managing the entire metric reporting lifecycle from metric preparation and planning, metric value reporting to reviewing action plans for metric breaches and communication to stakeholders. The job will cover Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Global Records Management (GRM), Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) and/or Regulatory Reporting Policy/Standard Common Processes.

Responsibilities*

Key responsibilities include:

Assist EDSGO in review, planning, and execution of the following activities:

  • Perform accurate and timely metric calculations.
  • Upload of Common Process Metrics into the appropriate System of Record.
  • Escalation of breached metrics and tracking of timely action plan input/upload.
  • Facilitate centralized process health data reporting and centralized reporting for common process metrics.
  • Developing high quality deliverable with clearly articulated executive summaries and key messages for Risk Forum reporting and Governance reporting.
  • Execute common process metric for the following policies and standards:
    • Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Policy
      • Capture Standard
      • Transport Standard
      • Use Standard
      • External Data Transmission (EDT) Standard
    • Global Records Management (GRM) Policy
    • Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) Policy
    • Regulatory Reporting Policy
  • Consolidate metric results across policies/standards to produce and facilitate trend analysis and breached metrics.
  • Report metric results to FLU/CFs for monitoring and tracking of Action Plans and Go-To-Green Plans.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for respective policy and/or standard common process.

Requirements*

“Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified.

  • 5+ years of work experience in reporting, creating metric dashboards and data analysis.
  • Proficient in reporting tools like Tableau, Alteryx and MicroStrategy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal instruction.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with partners and team.
  • Strong relationship management skills and executive presence to engage with FLU/CFs and senior data executives (i.e., lead testing kick-off meetings and reporting to stakeholders).
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • Proactive, strong work ethic, driven team player, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to support/help to the team when capacity allows.

  • Experience in analyzing POP, ORCIT for data-related processes and controls, familiarity with data management.
  • Familiarity with Bank of America enterprise data management tools.

Work Timings*

11 am – 8 pm IST

Weekend requirement: The team currently does not work on weekends. The prospective candidates should however be flexible to work on the weekends to meet the pressing requirements from the Business.
