Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain financial models using company financial filings using local stock exchanges, SEC and company press releases.
  • Publish periodic reports on the company’s financial condition and all relevant news highlights
  • Maintain a database of industry data in order to rank each company within its respective industry and geographically
  • Publish research on sector trends to support company/sector recommendations
  • Prepare reports/primers on industries and evolving developments (ESG, Accounting, Taxes, etc.)
  • Initiate and build relationships with investor clients to develop a network of contacts
  • Develop a relationship with the financial and investor relations teams of Issuer companies
  • Interact regularly with trading desk and sales people regarding investor conversations and trading trends
  • Participate in bank conferences and seminars with issuers and investors; help organize corporate & strategic access events
  • Work with other analysts within the EM team and other teams on thematic research by industry, region or globally (cross-asset reports)

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, International Studies/Relations
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation
  • Knowledge of and interest in international geo-political developments
  • Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Financial modelling
  • Written research reports
  • Interaction with companies management teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese is helpful

New York pay range:

$130,000 - $225,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
