Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of a domestic discretionary or non-discretionary, advisory product, which may include managing a product within the brokerage or institutional offering. Responsibilities include working with more senior Product Specialists in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing data collection and coordination activities.

Managed Account Advisors (MAA) is a Registered Investment Advisor that serves as the central resource for implementing and managing investments in Managed and Custom Managed Strategies in the Merrill Lynch Investment Advisory Program (IAP) and Select Portfolio Solutions Program (SPS) for the Private Bank.

The MAA Client Advocate is dedicated to providing Financial Advisors a comprehensive solution to specific client unique requests.  To accomplish this level of premier service our team requires an ambitious mind-set and a talent for outside-the-box thinking in order to determine how we can help satisfy the client's and the Financial Advisor's requests.

The MAA Client Advocate must possess excellent communication skills to ascertain the intent behind the phone engagement they've received, and then utilize their operational experience to ensure that all necessary parties (Financial Advisors, Discretionary Managers, various internal partners) have the information they need to complete the required tasks without creating any errors or adding unnecessary steps/time to the process.

Field inbound calls from Financial Advisors, Wealth Management Specialists, Client Relationship Managers, etc. and provide guidance around how they can accommodate their client's request

Process unique requests which require deviation from standard procedures

Act in a field-facing capacity as a representative of Managed Account Advisors

Research inquiries from branches and provide detailed explanations for trading activity within client accounts

Ensure the caller's interaction with MAA is as efficient as possible by taking ownership of their inquiry or request from start to finish

Trade Support experience preferred

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work independently or to coordinate with multiple teams

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required

Experience working with portfolio management software preferred

Experience:

 1+ years investment industry experience

Education:
