Senior Operations Consultant

Line of Business Description:

Responsible for the day to day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex changes for multiple functional teams.  Leads in the design, development, and implementation of processes, systems and services in an operational environment.  Individual contributor of a team related to special initiatives that are operational in nature. Functions as a technical employee readiness expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities.  Builds strong working relationships with business partners across the organization.   Has and builds in depth knowledge of the business unit's operational processes and impacts on other groups.

Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment. Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities. Provides work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and provides training to associates and Business Partners on new and complex initiatives. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 5-7 years of experience.

 

 Required Skills:

  • 2 or more years of coaching, associate readiness, and providing feedback to associate experience

  • Employee Readiness lead will support the development and publishing of procedures within the lines of business assigned. 

  • Previous employee readiness experience (communication, training, procedural work, etc) to maximize positive impact to the team.

  • Building and maintaining strong business partnerships is a key factor in the success of this role.  

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates clearly and crisply

  • Demonstrate broad and strong business acumen to synthesize complex information into simple concepts

  • Able to operate in an ambiguous environment or an environment where priorities may change quickly

  • Strong organization skills, ability to support multiple business teams

  • Good relationship management skills to influence and support business partners

  • Adherence to the Procedural Governance Guidelines, risk control framework are critical to the role. 

  • Self Starter, independent contributor, strong organizational skills.  

  • Strong written and oral communication skills are a must.

Desired Skills:

  • Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers or can demonstrate a working proficiency of AML functional team knowledge, systems and applications are a plus.

  • Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.

  • Individual typically has 5-7 years of employee readiness experience.
