Operations Project Consultant

Job Description:

This role is in Global Credit Operations supporting Syndicated & Corporate Lending.  The Business Support, Risk & Control Team works with Agency Management,  Fulfillment, Servicing & Operations across the US, EMEA, APAC and Canada.  Responsibilities will include research, report gathering/distribution and analyzing of data.   The candidate for this role will be responsible for several routines and will need to facilitate dialogue and actions from multiple business partners.  Additional activities will be identified as they are determined.

Core Responsibilities may include:

  • Facilitate meetings on assigned projects and collect/consolidate materials for review
  • Through root cause analysis, formulate solutions and recommend action plans with an eye towards consistency in solution and design
  • Managing multiple projects through the full project cycle from initiation through deployment. 
  • Maintain procedure and process documentation related to core activities
  • Provide line of business specific control reporting for day to day management and monthly reporting routines

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Operations experience
  • Strong metric reporting and analytical skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information in simple terms (oral and written)
  • Ability to multi-task, set goals/prioritize and meet deliverables in a fast-paced area
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept change and/or additional responsibilities
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward.
  • Ability to build business level relationships and influence others while working across functions and organizational lines
  • Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.
  • Flexible work style to accommodate working with partners across the globe
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Desired skills:

  • Experience working with audit, risk, compliance and/or GT&O Business Control teams
  • LoanIQ Experience
  • Syndicated Lending Experience
  • Prior business process management or control framework knowledge

NOTE:  This position, if filled in Richardson, TX is expected to move to Plano office in late 2022.
