Software Engineer III Payments Technology

Job Description:

Position Summary

- Rapid architecture, design and implementation of complex solutions
- Provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions as individual contributor
- Modernize and transform existing applications according to enterprise defined technology stack and standards.
- Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.
- Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.
- Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
-Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.
-Investigate and recommend best practices and process improvements.

Required Skills

- Supports End to End Technology for middleware programs and projects. Core technologies include Jboss, Java. Spring framwork, Webservices and Mulesoft. Partners with Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, Impacted System Owners and Solution Implementation Teams.
- Should have multiyear experience in working with Agile teams  and be able to lead all the agile routines and meetings
- 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and database technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in working with Spring. Expert in various Spring frameworks
- Experience in designing and building micro services and messaging solutions
- Experience with Build and Deploy, Code Coverage and  Log Monitoring tools such as   Maven, Jenkins, Git, Junit, Mockito, SonarQube, Splunk
- Should have recent development experience, the role is equally split between leading the team and hands on programming.
- Lead a team of 5-7 developers to design, develop and deploy scalable and resilient systems
- Serve as an effective point of escalation on behalf of the team and client. Support teams during production migration and production verification ensuring all components are successfully migrated and provide timely status updates to the management.
- Strong verbal and written communication  skills with ability to work and collaborate across globally dispersed teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-driven, innovative and pushes for high-quality measurable outcomes,

Desired Skills

- Exposure to core banking, payments strongly desired.
- Experience with Mulesoft
