The team:

Our Global Markets Off-cycle Analyst programme gives our interns exposure to the various products within Equities Financing and may include Physical Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Single Name and Index Delta One products, Account Management and Financial Resource management.

Programme Overview

Our off-cycle interns participate in a 12-month programme within Prime Financing. Mirroring the role of various full-time employees, this program acts as a unique opportunity to gain exposure to life within Prime Finance, tailored to the skills and profile of the successful candidate(s). This may include Account Management: strengthening relationships with our hedge fund clients through excellent servicing of accounts, seeking commercial opportunities to drive business in the future and proactively spotting efficiency improvements to reduce risks and enhance existing processes; the Trading function of Prime Financing: working with Stock Loan and the Swaps trading desks who offer synthetic access to clients looking to access global Indices and physical and synthetic access to Equity linked securities listed within the EMEA region; and the Financial Resources Group who are responsible for growing and optimizing Prime Financing client revenues and clients’ resource footprint within the parameters of the binding constraints of the firm (capital, liquidity, balance sheet), as well as exposure to other areas of Prime Financing and how it fits into the broader Equities and Markets franchise.

Given the off-cycle internship acts as a hiring channel for our Prime Financing graduate program, you will be given responsibilities early and will be relied on to make a significant contribution to the team and to our client franchise.
