This job is responsible for providing advanced end-to-end operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business, and cross-business functional support through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include ensuring trading and operational activities are completed accurately and before deadlines, researching and resolving complex issues, and simplifying client interactions. Main point of contact for AMRS Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations process health control matters, audit remediation activities, regulatory reviews, and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of the team's operating model, risk profile, and portfolio of work, along with current knowledge of key initiatives and developments across the ETD landscape. Working closely with managers, auditors, and senior leaders, this role serves as the primary escalation and consultation point for regulatory control issues. The individual will proactively assess the health of clearing service processes, identify emerging risks and control gaps, and drive continuous improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides operational support for one or more activities within the lifecycle of a trade, including trade processing, trade settlement, accounting and reconciliation, lifecycle events, and collateral management
- Provides simplified client interactions and deepens client relationships across Global Banking and Markets' clients
- Completes accurate, timely clearing and settlement of trades with internal and external counterparties including reconciliation management and governance of trade fails and breaks
- Performs tasks accurately during high volume periods in a team environment
- Improves and simplifies the client experience, reducing manual touchpoints
- Supports the implementation of new processes to improve the overall business operating model
- Identifies and flags potential risks in a timely manner
- Serve as the primary escalation point for process health, risk, and regulatory control concerns, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging AI and automation capabilities to enhance operational efficiency, control effectiveness, and service delivery.
- Develop, monitor, and report process health metrics, identifying emerging risks, performance trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive end-to-end audit issue remediation efforts, partnering with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Technology teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert during technology incidents, coordinating investigation, remediation, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
- Partner with senior leaders to assess operational risks, strengthen controls, and improve overall process resilience across the ETD operating environment.
- Function as a proactive "process health" advisor, identifying control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in futures in options
- Exceptional Proficiency in GMI, Alteryx, CoPilot and BoA Frontier Reconciliation Systems.
- Exceptional ETD Clearing service metric creation, reporting dissemination.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex topics to a broad range of audiences, including senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing competing priorities.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently, with strong judgment regarding risk identification, issue escalation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience in process health, operational risk, regulatory controls, audit remediation, or a related governance-focused role.
- Strong understanding of Bank of America AI governance frameworks, policies, forums, and approved AI-enabled solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex operational processes and translate findings into actionable improvements and measurable outcomes.

- Advanced proficiency in AI-enabled tools and workflow solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Alteryx, and related automation technologies.
