Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence and innovation.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

 

Process Overview

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research.  Global Banking and Markets Technology provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets and banking businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives, Structured Products, Commercial Card, Cash Management, Payments, Sales, Servicing and Fulfillment. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies.

 

 

Job Description: -

This role is responsible for defining, shaping, and managing technology solutions for international applications to deliver meaningful business outcomes. The position drives continuous improvement in solution architecture, quality, scalability, and reusability, while enabling greater development efficiency through innovative technology capabilities and engineering best practices

Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership, advancing solution design standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology enablers that enhance organizational productivity. The role is expected to demonstrate deep expertise in at least one engineering domain, serve as a trusted subject matter expert across the organization, and contribute to strengthening technical capabilities through talent acquisition, mentoring, coaching, and professional development initiatives.

 

  • A transformational Senior Technology Leader who has led large-scale payments data and analytics platforms, delivered AI-driven insights capabilities, modernized enterprise data ecosystems, strengthened data governance and regulatory compliance, and partnered closely with business leaders to drive growth, operational excellence, and client value across global payments.
  • Proven experience leading architects, engineers, and product owners across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing technology strategy aligned to business outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior business, operations, risk, and technology stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the overall strategy and execution for Global Payments Insights and Business Intelligence initiatives, ensuring delivery of key business outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Drives the expansion and maturity of offshore capabilities by transitioning work, building sustainable operating models, and increasing ownership within offshore teams.
  • Partners with global stakeholders to define priorities, establish delivery roadmaps, and ensure effective execution across geographically distributed teams.
  • Provides leadership and governance across multiple programs, ensuring alignment, risk management, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Builds and develops high-performing teams through talent management, mentoring, succession planning, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
  • Mentors and clarifies issues and practices for DevOps Engineers by decomposing more complex tasks into actionable work units and deliverables and assigning the work units to an individual or teams of DevOps Engineers
  • Responds to escalated events or issues from DevOps Engineers and creates issues and action-plan summaries for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Application Owner(s) on mid-term and long-term strategy for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool adoption efforts across groups of applications
  • Monitors and responds to aggregate alert trends across application and infrastructure key performance indicators (KPI) for the service supporting CI/CD services
  • Works with Infrastructure and Solutions Engineers to prioritize and propose new features and capabilities for CI/CD service platform that fosters increased automation across a group of applications or line of business
  • Responds to risk or audit identified issues with access control processed designed for compliance with firm separation of duties practices and software release management standards, and policies
  • Works with Site Reliability and Infrastructure Engineers to reconcile and integrate planned CI/CD service platform changes across the monitoring, alerting, forecasting, and reporting functions

 

Requirements

  • Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience Range- 16 + Yrs

 

Foundational skills:

  • Deep knowledge of global payments, treasury services, cash management, liquidity, receivables, and transaction banking. Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including Wire Payments, RTP/Instant Payments, ACH, Cross-Border Payments, ISO 20022, Regulatory and compliance reporting. Experience supporting large-scale payment platforms and data environments.
  • Experience successfully delivering complex initiatives
  • Knowledge of processes, procedures and policies that govern change and technology at Bank of America, including the Bank of America's Enterprise Change Management Policies and Standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities with limited supervision
  • Ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance personal productivity and project delivery
