Job Description:
The Treasury Sales Associate role will be partnered with HTSR Treasury Sales Officer(s) (TSO) focused on developing strategies to grow revenue domestically and globally. Key accountabilities include: independent focus of treasury sales opportunities, supporting all activities from sale through implementation, ongoing client relationship management, overall driving and attainment of Treasury revenue goals. To be successful in the role, TSA’s must maintain and build a strong client focus, and awareness and understanding of the bank and operational aspects of the products and services used by clients in addition to possessing good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to grow revenue and increase treasury product penetration
Complete price/cost benefit analysis models; work with TSO for non-standard pricing
Support TSO on large scale opportunities and deepen relationships at lower half of portfolio with guidance from TSO; includes in person calling on clients.
Assist TSOs in relationship planning, gathering information regarding clients and prospects
Support activities in coordination with IA from sale - implementation, onboarding and training
Complete industry research on clients and prospects; client opportunity analysis
Ensure escalated service issues are properly managed with the right resources
Prepare analysis and presentation materials for all client meetings
Complete card agreements and gather documentation from various areas of the bank in order to submit for implementation
Assists with coordinating the Client Management Process (CMP), including client planning, client calling efforts, client team meeting preparation, delivery, and follow-up, and revenue and pathway tracking
Conducts industry, client, and prospect research to develop strategies and create proposals and pitchbooks for pre-call planning
Completes price and cost benefit analysis models to develop pricing strategies, which includes working with the Treasury Sales Officer on non-standard pricing
Partners with Product Specialists and support partners to develop strategies to grow revenue and deepen existing relationships
Supports clients through the implementation, client onboarding, and training activities
Ensures the accuracy of sales data including managing sales pathways, call reporting, and profitability reporting
Participates in in-person calling activities and ad-hoc direct sales opportunities with Treasury Sales Officers
Required Qualifications:
Two or more years of B2B sales and/or client service experience in a financial services environment; preferred candidates will have Treasury experience
Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop solutions
Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a larger team
Proven experience developing rapport with clients, colleagues and other business partners
Excellent MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) experience
Desired Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have their CTP (Certified Treasury Professional)
Preferred Candidates will have proven experience prospecting and developing new business
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience; preferred
