Job Description:

Associate, REGL Investment Banker will play an integral role in supporting senior bankers in the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and other strategic advisory transactions. The role offers significant exposure to senior client executives and requires close collaboration with product partners across Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and Corporate Banking.

This position is based in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare client presentations, pitch books, marketing materials, and transaction-related analyses.
  • Support the execution of M&A transactions, equity and debt financings, recapitalizations, and other strategic advisory assignments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation modeling, merger consequences analysis, and transaction structuring assessments.
  • Perform industry, company, and market research across the REGL sectors, including analysis of competitive positioning, industry trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, accretion/dilution, and leveraged buyout analyses.
  • Coordinate diligence processes and interact with clients, legal counsel, accountants, and other transaction advisors throughout execution.
  • Partner with product partners, including Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and Corporate Banking, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Manage multiple live transactions and business development initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Anticipate senior banker needs and proactively prepare materials for client meetings and strategic discussions.
  • Monitor capital markets activity, economic developments, and sector-specific trends affecting REGL clients.
  • Assist in the training, mentoring, and development of Analysts and junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, transaction advisory, or related experience.
  • Experience within Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging, Leisure, Consumer, Industrials, or other relevant coverage groups preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience building and reviewing complex financial models and conducting quantitative analyses.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing client-facing materials.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while taking ownership of workstreams.
  • Strong leadership potential, initiative, and professional presence when interacting with senior bankers and clients.
  • A track record of outstanding academic and professional achievement.

New York pay range:

$175,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
