Job Description:

The individual will be responsible for partnering with Treasury Coverage and Corporate Bankers globally to develop business opportunities and drive liquidity revenue from existing and new commercial clients. The individual will be the central point of contact for liquidity solutioning on a portfolio of client segments / geographies.

The successful applicant will work closely with our colleagues across the wider Liquidity team globally in supporting all Sales activities such as identifying new product requirements, identifying client solutions across a broad range of products on a global basis, managing stop sell & remediation processes, and executing on defined rate strategies. This will be achieved with client analytics, balance sheet management, defining strategies on portfolio segment basis, presentation preparation, RFP responses, and both internal and external education.

Responsibilities:

  • Structures optimum liquidity solutions for clients based on multiple factors including the client’s accounts, legal entities & jurisdictions, client needs and preferences, the bank’s capabilities/ constraints, practical considerations, commercial considerations, relationship strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manages credit, legal, regulatory and commercial risks in the solutions provided and ensures compliance with bank policies.
  • Provides multiple solution options where applicable, with clear articulation of recommendations and considerations to help clients make an informed decision.
  • Determines liquidity solution pricing, balancing competitiveness and margin, to win profitable deals. 
  • Leads liquidity management RFP responses and presentations.
  • Collaborates with global stakeholders on multi-regional / global deals.
  • Drives liquidity product commercialization resulting in deal wins and increased adoption of liquidity management solutions
  • Drives operating balance and revenue growth on their portfolio, and provides inputs to associated financial processes (i.e., forecast, monthly flash reporting, etc.)
  • Supports the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities
  • Understands product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape to provide awareness of trends to sales and marketing teams
  • Obtains meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of the team but can also work independently
  • Able to successfully develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Knowledge of global liquidity management techniques
  • Balance Sheet management knowledge
  • Skilled in XLS and Powerpoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 10 years of experience in banking is preferred
