Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting analytical work efforts for various projects within a Line of Business or business discipline. Key responsibilities include leveraging databases to acquire client and performance data, transforming extracted data into meaningful insights and trends, and delivering those insights to leaders to make complex business decisions. Job expectations include working with business partners to understand, coordinate, and deliver agreed upon priorities while communicating complex data outputs and delivering the appropriate summary and data required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the value of our product and tech delivery as an individual contributor. The role includes overseeing the development projects and tools which support various functions across Global Operations. Line of Business Job Description:
A Client Quantitative Analyst I serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring reporting and analytics solutions effectively support Global Operations business objectives. This role is responsible for assessing incoming requests, prioritizing work, and assigning projects based on team capacity and required expertise. The analyst partners closely with clients, line of business subject matter experts, product managers, developers, and analysts to gather business requirements, set expectations, and provide ongoing project updates. By building strong stakeholder relationships, identifying root causes of business challenges, and recommending data-driven solutions, the analyst helps drive informed decision-making.
In addition, the Client Quantitative Analyst I oversees the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of reporting and analytics products. The role defines strategies for reporting, data visualization, and analytics delivery while monitoring project execution, tracking progress against target dates, and managing risks and opportunities across multiple initiatives. The analyst establishes performance metrics to measure adoption, data utilization, and reporting accuracy, continuously evaluating effectiveness and identifying opportunities for enhancement. They also ensure the quality, reliability, governance, security, and compliance of reporting solutions by adhering to established standards and routines, including GIS, MRM, and EDM requirements. Through ongoing analysis and optimization of reporting capabilities, the analyst drives innovation and continuous improvement to deliver meaningful business insights.
Responsibilities:
Supports the extraction of data using a variety of a programming languages, such as SQL, SAS, Python, or Spark/Scala, and applies knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems housed on both on-premise and off-premise (hybrid) platforms
Connects provisioned data across multiple sources and performs necessary transformations utilizing both technical, business, and process knowledge to transform data into meaningful values and insights
Performs quantitative techniques and analysis on customer, transaction, and performance data with the guidance from other analysts and supervisors, based on questions provided by business partners, and provides actionable insights for business partners to make informed decisions.
Follows requirements developed by other analysts and supervisors to perform required research, analytics, and exploration on appropriate and accurate data sources to provide appropriate deliverables
Communicates complex subjects in a simple and engaging manner to non-technical and technical business partners using software such as Power Point, Word, Excel, and Tableau
Assists with conducting quality comparison checks on analysis output and escalates data inconsistencies, gaps, or issues to leadership
Follows quality workflow process and documentation requirements to adhere to standards and provide business continuity
Required Qualifications:
Ability to use data tools and techniques to find and deliver data from various sources of record
Proven communications skills in describing complex data to inform strategic insights and decisions
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance, math/statistics, computer scienceor another quantitative field (for example, engineering, operations management) or equivalent experience
Coursework in finance, math/statistics and/or computer science
4+ years of experience in intake, project or product management
Can interpret programming code, workflows, and process maps
Strong understanding of risk analysis and management
Tech solution consulting.
Process documentation and ownership
Strong understanding of SDLC process
Precise attention to detail and accuracy
Problem solves and troubleshoots on their own but knows when and how to escalate issues effectively
Proven track record in developing and managing data-driven products
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including executive level progress updates
User Acceptance Testing experience
Enthusiastic, energetic, determined, and positive especially under pressure
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or higher in finance, math/statistics, computer scienceor another quantitative field (for example, engineering, operations management)
Data Mining / Analytical skills, along with programing language (e.g., SQL, Python, JavaScript, VBA) proficiency, especially SQL.
Basic Knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) type tools, integration (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query) and analytics technologies.
Strong analytical thinking capability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
Excellent story-telling verbal and written communication to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical partners.
Strong project management, organizational and multitasking skills to manage concurrent projects with competing priorities.
Proficiency in building strong partnerships across diverse groups, including lines of businesses clients, peer Product Managers and development teams.
A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data or reporting-related issues efficiently.
Ability to influence and guide development teams or stakeholders without direct authority.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation.
