Responsibilities
Execute FX and Emerging Market Fixed Income transactions for institutional clients.
Provide clients with macro market color, including global economic and geopolitical trends and flows and positioning dynamics.
Pitch trade ideas for clients including complicated derivatives products.
Monitor daily operational risk for the sales desk.
Assist clients with onboarding new accounts and products.
Provide allocation and other daily operational services for clients.
Provide trading desk with clients' color and market views and assist with recycling trading risks.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related: and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Using financial trading software including Bloomberg in order to continuously update clients on market color, provide analysis of price movements across spectrum of fixed income, fx, and emerging markets assets;
Using pragmatic market knowledge in a variety of sectors within the fixed income market, including foreign exchange, emerging market government and corporate bonds, interest rates and derivatives, and hybrid derivative structures;
Assessing pricing and liquidity of different products under different market conditions to make appropriate trading recommendations to clients;
Marketing new FX-Emerging Markets clients through existing and new relationships; and,
Generating market commentary on a daily and weekly basis for clients, to both convey macro themes and deliver the firm’s trading views on various assets.
15% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.
