Job Description:
The Enterprise Credit Subsidiary Lending Group (EC SLG) is responsible for the independent administration of a client portfolio that facilitates credit to local subsidiaries of multinational clients. The team manages the local credit process (Responsibility Credits, or “R-Credits”) and provides dedicated support to the Global Subsidiary Banking business.

Responsibilities:

  • Executing credit administration functions for the client portfolio and coordinating local jurisdictional requirements with key stakeholders and business partners.
  • Manage and oversee the local legal entity approval and booking process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements, while coordinating with relevant business partners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact and liaise with global credit teams, local subsidiary banking teams, and external clients to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Support the preparation, negotiation, and execution of credit documentation, including loan agreements and related legal documents.
  • Ensure assigned portfolio and credit processes meet satisfactory standards in internal audits, credit reviews, and regulatory examinations.

Requirements:

  • Independently manage and administer a portfolio of clients, supporting credit facilitation for local subsidiaries of multinational corporations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and credit due diligence for local borrowers to fulfill local regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of local regulatory requirements applicable to credit activities. Demonstrate the ability to support the preparation of basic regulatory reporting.
  • Relevant credit or operational experience, with knowledge of Corporate Banking products and services. Experience in reviewing and interpreting loan agreements and related documentation, as well as the ability to analyze financial statements, is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Possess proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
