Position Summary
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
CCRFT is seeking a highly talented Feature Lead to manage adherence to Enterprise Change standards and provide Release Governance. Responsibilities to lead and coordinate the General Ledger activity-level planning for various programs and BAU events. The position is responsible for leading four distinct teams: • General Ledger Release & Deployment Management – Creation of the deployment plan and activity level Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the production cutover event while adhering to Enterprise change standards for release delivery. • General Ledger Runbook Testing – Test automation schedules in the lower environments and facilitates production promotion - build production packages, review and conduct KT sessions for APS Autosys / Finance command center teams. • General ledger Environment Management – Work with functional owners to create an end to end environment management strategy ensuring environment readiness for various deployment events and coordinating maintenance and downtime synchronization for BAU and Initiatives. • General Ledger Service Integration – Centrally coordinate all testing activities related to functional, performance and runbook in the lower environments - conduct test planning calls with test coordinators, Control Room partners and other stakeholders for test cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver Release & Environment Management services to stakeholders.
- Understand stakeholder’s expectations and objectives.
- Understand requirement specifications and guide team members.
- Lead release and environment planning, strategy and coordination.
- Interact with PMO individually and in a team environment.
- Involved in incident remediation coordination.
- Lead project, infrastructure and testing requirements/strategy calls.
- Participate / host calls independently with stakeholder technology teams.
- Able to work independently or in a team on complex projects.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of job related experience required .
- SAP Architecture Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP system architecture, including the integration and interaction of core SAP components such as ERP Central Component (ECC), Master Data Management (MDM), Business Warehouse (BW), and Business Planning Consolidations (BPC).
- SAP Security & CUA: Strong knowledge of SAP security and Central User Administration (CUA), with experience maintaining user and role data through system refreshes, upgrades, and landscape changes.
- System Patch & Maintenance Support: Hands-on experience collaborating with Network and Infrastructure Teams to execute monthly patching cycles and system updates.
- SAP Consolidations Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of daily and monthly financial consolidation data flows, including processes such as Equity Pick Up.
- SAP Financial Data Management: Prior experience working with SAP financial data, including the setup and maintenance of master data, hierarchies, and transactional datasets.
- Release Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate multiple releases concurrently, ensuring timelines are met, risks are communicated, and issues are escalated appropriately.
- Agile SDLC Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Agile software development lifecycle processes, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and post‑deployment validation.
- Release & Documentation Tools: Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Remedy, Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Confluence for release management, workflow tracking, and documentation.
- Delivery Lead Skills: Experience planning, organizing, and estimating project financials, with practical exposure to SAP‑related projects.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.
- Project Management Experience: Experience in planning, organizing, and financial estimation.
- Communication & Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with Technical teams, Business stakeholders, and external vendors during major release cycles.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify cross‑functional dependencies and streamline release execution, ensuring activities are coordinated efficiently to minimize overall system downtime.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Effectively navigates upward and downward communication channels.
