Job Description:
- Working in a global team as part of Global Funding/Treasury technology team on delivery of new products, regulatory reporting needs and projects both country specific, regional and global in nature. You will work under the guidance of a Project Manager in APAC as well as integrating with the Analyst and Development teams in EMEA and US.
Responsibilities:
- Work on projects for the APAC Global Funding/Treasury technology team as an analyst working across multiple streams from small niche deliverables to global projects and across the full Project lifecycle associated with these deliverables.
- Gather data and business requirements by working with Treasury, Finance, Operations and Project teams in APAC.
- Challenge current business processes and functional logic while capturing requirements for the deliverable.
- Document business requirements and translate business terms into functional specifications for development teams and coordinate with other technology teams to source data.
- Impact analysis for enhancements to current systems or processes.
- Participate in design discussion and provide inputs to come up with a solution that is scalable and sustainable.
- Work with scrum master to coordinate between the business users, development and support team on requirement sign off, development support, functional testing, and release management.
- Participate in scrum routines for sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint review and retrospective.
- Work with scrum master to break project into epics and write user stories.
- Perform data analysis and work on data quality issues.
- Work with users to define data controls and operating model post automation.
- Raise risks in project in timely manner with scrum master and escalate as needed.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience in banking domains.
- In depth understanding of Treasury Products, including but not limited to Money Market (loans/deposits), FX, Securities/Derivatives and the business/settlement processes associated to them
- Understanding of software development process; experience in Agile/Scrum process will be an advantage.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, creating specifications, writing supporting documentation.
- Experience in data analysis using VBA, SQL and excel, ideally supported with experience in using and creating reports/extracts from Tableau
- Understanding of liquidity ratios, market risk and counterparty risk calculation will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills and experience working in a virtual/global team.
