The Team - Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Sales

Global Payments Solutions (GPS) EMEA Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Sales is a market-leading team covering Bank of America’s most strategic institutional clients, including banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) such as insurers, asset managers, private capital firms, broker-dealers, and fintechs.

The team delivers integrated transaction banking solutions across payments, liquidity, FX, and trade, supporting clients with complex, cross-border operating models and evolving regulatory requirements.

We operate in a highly collaborative environment across Coverage, Product, Operations, and Risk, where success depends on strong execution, commercial awareness, and effective teamwork.

Role Overview

As a Treasury Sales Associate (TSA), you will partner closely with Treasury Sales Officers (TSOs) to support the delivery of treasury solutions across a portfolio of institutional clients.

The role combines execution, coordination, and client support, including:

  • Preparation of client materials and analysis

  • Support for deal structuring and execution

  • Coordination of onboarding and implementation

  • Contribution to client engagement and internal collaboration

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, requiring strong attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Client Preparation & Thought Support

  • Develop high-quality client presentations, pricing analyses, and supporting materials

  • Contribute to meeting preparation, pitches, and RFP/RFI responses

  • Support client strategy development through research and analysis

Deal Execution

  • Support execution of opportunities across payments, liquidity, FX, and trade

  • Assist with pricing, structuring, and internal approval processes

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and sales tracking data

Onboarding & Implementation

  • Coordinate account opening, documentation, and onboarding processes

  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Compliance teams

  • Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and support timely delivery

Client & Internal Coordination

  • Act as a key point of coordination across internal stakeholders

  • Build strong working relationships across teams

  • Participate in client interactions where appropriate

Ongoing Client Support & Change Execution

  • Support ongoing client requests, pricing updates, and product changes

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables

Role Expectation

  • This role requires strong attention to detail and a consistently high standard of execution, supporting the quality and reliability of all client-related activity.

  • While a core component of the role is coordinating and supporting execution across deals, onboarding, and client deliverables, it also requires judgement, proactivity, and the ability to contribute to broader team objectives.

  • The successful candidate will combine execution discipline with a solutions-oriented mindset, bringing analytical rigour while supporting client engagement and internal collaboration.

  • Client interaction and in-person engagement form an important part of the role, particularly in building relationships and contributing to the overall client experience.

  • Over time, the role can evolve in line with individual strengths, with opportunities to further develop commercial, client-facing, and product capabilities.
