Job Description:
Seeking an experienced product manager to help drive the build-out and growth of our FICC Macro trading platforms in the Americas. FICC Macro sits at the heart of global markets, driving liquidity, pricing, and risk transfer across multiple lines of business. The successful candidate will shape and scale our platform capabilities, delivering institutional-grade solutions in a complex operating environment. The role demands deep domain expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at a senior level. The role will play a pivotal role in defining the future of BofA’s trading platforms in a fast-evolving macro landscape.
FICC E-Trading
The role sits within the FICC E-Trading team in Global Markets. This horizontal team works across all FICC lines of business, enabling both Bank of America and its clients to benefit from new electronic trading strategies and products, evolving liquidity, and changes in market structure. The team works with venues and vendors to identity new use cases and strategic investment opportunities. The team partners with colleagues at all levels of Global Markets and collaborates with other teams across Quant, Technology, COO, Legal and Compliance to bring complex projects to fruition in a demanding and fast-moving trading environment.
Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in product development across the Americas FICC Macro platform, with potential projects spanning Rates, Repo and Commodities
- Shape product strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader FICC Macro business strategy
- Spearhead business expansion into new products, venues, and markets
- Stay ahead of changes in market structure to inform product and business strategy
- Lead product management for key trading platform components
- Collaborate with Technology, Quant, and COO teams to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of trading functionality
- Oversee venue and vendor partnerships and acting as a sounding board for strategic investments
Skills:
- Bachelors-, or equivalent-, level degree, with a preference for STEM or Finance
- Extensive knowledge and experience across two or more FICC Macro product lines (Rates, Repo, Commodities, and/or FX)
- Familiarity with the full trading and risk lifecycle in a Principal-trading environment
- Understanding of design best practices in electronic trading, trade capture, and risk management
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to influence change and drive consensus
- Understanding of other Fixed Income products is beneficial
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scaled Agile) is beneficial
