Job Description:

Titan ET is a Critical Platform in APAC offering low touch Swaps trading to our clients across 7 different markets. It processes around 600k orders today and about 1.8 mn executions day to day.

Working closely with Titan global team to implement changes, release and support the platform

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Platform and Trading in Swaps and Cash desks
  • Working on regional business enablement features.
  • Working closely with Titan global team to implement changes, release and support the platform
  • Develop SME knowledge to recover Titan ET platform during issues and focus on stability 
  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Design and develop distributed, high volume, high velocity multi-threaded event processing systems using Core Java technology stack in an agile setting
  • Provide high operational excellence guaranteeing high availability and platform stability

Required Skills:

  • Strong coding knowledge, specifically core java development, and a track record of working well in diverse team settings as well as leading specific deliverables to completion.
  • Experience in Developing low-latency order management systems for Equities Trading.
  • Experience in Equity Swaps domain and front to back understanding of Equities trading is preferred
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
  • Experience with Spring framework: Spring Boot, Java, Transactional backend development
  • Software development skills: Git source control, branch/merge, pull requests
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and systems automation
  • Experience with working in Agile enterprise environment: SCRUM, Standups

Desired Skiills:

  • Equities Trading domain knowledge
  • Strong organization, writing, communication skills
  • Experience with DevOps model and tools like Ansible is a plus
  • Experience with financial sector​
