Job Description:
This job is responsible for resolving day-to-day complex problems, researching, and executing on complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s). Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and implementation of products, systems, processes, and services using discretion within the project management methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Role Description:

  • This role supports the Collateral, Insurance, and Document Management (CI&DM) organization by delivering advanced reporting, data analysis, and data quality oversight. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced Excel‑based dashboards and analytical tools to support operational decision‑making.  The analyst will develop and enhance reporting solutions, perform complex root‑cause analysis, and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and reliability of data used for operational and risk reporting. The position works independently and collaboratively with developers, business partners, and technology teams to maintain strong data controls, support system conversions, and continuously improve data and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop dynamic, user‑friendly dashboards in Excel using advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA, and automation techniques
  • Build and maintain robust data models to support business analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting
  • Automate repetitive processes using macros, VBA scripts, and workflow optimizations to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform detailed data validation, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and deliver reporting that supports strategic and operational priorities
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing Excel tools, ensuring optimal performance and sustainable design
  • Document processes, logic, and dashboard functionality for continuity and audit readiness

Required Skills:

  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills to build models and interpret complex data sets (Strong statistical analysis is a plus)
  • Excellent problem‑solving ability with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders clearly and effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (e.g., FILTER/COUNTIFS/SUMIFS/XLOOKUP, array formulas, nested logic, statistical functions)
  • Strong VBA programming skills for building automated tools and custom Excel functionality
  • Experience creating intuitive, visually effective dashboards, scorecards, workflow tools and data visualizations
  • Experience working with large datasets, data processing, or operational reporting preferred

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, Tableau, Alteryx, Visual Studio, Starburst suites
  • Experience in operations, risk, financial services, or data governance environments
  • Background in process improvement or automation
