In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Global Banking and Markets supports global businesses of the Bank with solutions requiring judgment application, sound business understanding and analytical perspective. The domain experience in the areas of Financial Research & Analysis, Risk Management and Prospecting Support provide solutions for revenue enhancement, risk mitigation and cost optimization. The division comprising of highly qualified associates operates from three locations i.e, Mumbai, Gurgaon & Hyderabad

Job Description*

A division of Global Payments Solutions at Bank of America, Bid Management team designs, delivers and services integrated credit and treasury products to more than 140,000 clients around the world, including small businesses, middle-market and large corporations, multi-nationals, financial institutions and governments. These solutions, distributed through Bid Managers, include business and corporate lending, global payments and liquidity management, commercial card services, trade finance, foreign exchange, lines of credit and equipment finance solutions. 

As an extended part of the Bid Management team, we are required to manage and produce high quality proposals (RFIs, RFPs, RFx, ITTs, PQQs, DDQ, and other Client Questionnaires) across AMRS, EMEA, APAC and LATAM Global Transaction Services (GTS) covering Cash and Liquidity Management, Trade Finance (SCF, BGs, LCs), Corporate Cards, and USD/EUR/GBP Clearing for FIs.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for working on the following:

  • Understanding requirements of RFPs and DDQs from Large Corporate, Financial Institutions, and Middle Market segments

  • Prepare first drafts proposals and e2e Due Diligence Questionnaires for Sales team and Bid Managers

  • Contribute towards addition or curating content used in RFPs and DDQs

  • Work across the regions to drive coordination related to global initiatives

  • Create culture of constant process improvement, best practice sharing, and professional growth

  • Ensure compliance with all RFP requirements and bank policies

  • Complete deal and month-end routines (properly transitioning deals, win/loss tracking, survey follow-up)

Requirements*

  • Education*

    • Masters in Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Certifications If Any

    • APMP Certification (good to have)

  • Experience Range*

    • 5-7 years’ experience in financial services industry, preferably in Commercial or Corporate Banking

    • 3-5 year experience driving global and regional deals independently

  • Foundaitonal skills*

    • Expert knowledge of Treasury Management products across receivables, payables, liquidity solutions, cash management and FX for Large Corporate, Financial Institutions, and / or Middle Market client segments

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities

    • Strong written communication skills with ability to produce targeted pitches; thorough command over grammar and writing techniques

    • Ability to build strong partnerships, relationship management and influencing skills across all levels of the organization

    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft 360, specially, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to incorporate effective graphics and visual elements

  • Desired skills*

    • Meticulous, team player and able to perform under pressure

    • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and work in a highly project based environment

    • Self-Motivated, proactive in nature, assertive, and has excellent attention to details.
