Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing complex/strategic product(s) and developing strategies across functional groups and within a product group. Key responsibilities include managing the full marketing cycle and financial responsibilities for specific product areas and driving innovative idea generation for the products under management. Job expectations include ensuring that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.

We are seeking a Director-level Product Manager to join the team responsible for business management of Bank of America’s U.S. Automated Clearing House (ACH) product. This product supports 40,000+ clients, processes over 280M transactions monthly, and generates $460M+ in annual revenue.

In this role, you will combine strategic leadership, product management, and risk oversight to drive innovation and ensure the continued growth and resilience of a critical payments product.

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide strategic oversight of key components of the ACH product, including risk, controls, and client experience

•   Lead risk management and compliance governance, including executive-level reporting and issue remediation

•   Act as a senior ACH SME, supporting complex client engagements and high-impact issue resolution

•  Influence and partner with senior stakeholders across sales, operations, risk, compliance, and technology

•  Lead and prioritize product development roadmap initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory objectives

•  Drive end-to-end ownership of product processes, ensuring scalability, control, and operational excellence

•  Contribute to talent development and team leadership

Required skills:

•  10+ years of experience in product management, treasury management, or payments

•  Demonstrated experience operating at strategic and execution levels simultaneously

•   Strong knowledge of electronic payments and treasury services

•   Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives

•   Experience managing risk, controls, or regulatory-driven processes

•   Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationship, influence partners and adapt messaging for technical and non technical audiences

•    Proven ability to work effectively across multiple lines of business and functions, value diverse perspectives, and contribute to shared outcomes in a matrixed environment

•    Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

•    Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

•    Bachelor’s degree required

Desired skills:

•   Deep expertise in ACH and Nacha rules

•   Leadership experience, including team mentorship or informal people leadership

•    Experience managing large-scale, high-volume payment platforms

Ability to represent the bank in payment industry groups
