Job Description
Client Data Services (CDS) team is responsible for accounts and settlement instruction setup for all products in which local entities offer to clients.  For completing responsibilities, the team interacts with front office, settlement team, regional AML / KYC team, and sometimes clients.  The team is also responsible for onboarding clients to local entities in Japan according to local regulations and enterprise policies which the role can be expanded to.

Responsibilities
Client Static Data Support
- Manage new account opening
- Ongoing maintenance of clients and accounts, including support for corporate actions events such as client name changes
- Setup and support ongoing maintenance of settlement instructions
- Handle product specific agreements and contracts
- Manage Client Documentation, including global and local tax regulation related documents, FIEA letters, and Terms and Conditions
- Various forms/documentation maintenance – Postage, Storage and Disposal
- Respond and coordinate requests receive from external and internal group to provide required information in a timely manner
- Provide oversight of outsourced activities, ensuring services are delivered according to SLAs

Local KYC
- Onboard Global Markets clients to local entities in Japan according to the local regulations
 - Advise and explain KYC (Know Your Clients) requirements to sales/clients
- Set up and maintain client details
 - Facilitate, collect and verify Non AML documents from clients such that may include FATCA, CRS forms, or FIEA client category
- Facilitate dormancy review and off boarding of clients

Requirements
 Team Player - establish and maintain good working environment with team members, and business partners
· Self driven individual with good planning, organization and follow up skills.
· Coordination - Ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams
· Native Japanese and Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent technical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization
· Risk Management  - able to think from enterprise standpoint as well as surrounding regulations
· Attention to details
· Good knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, others)

Desired Experiences
· Minimum of 3 years experience in Investment Banking Operations or in financial industry
· Hold JSDA 1, or 2nd class
· Broad understanding of financial products and markets
