Clients are served by teams of experienced advisors offering a range of financial products and services, including investment management, financial and succession planning, philanthropic and specialty asset management, family office services, custom credit solutions, financial administration and family trust stewardship.
Enterprise Description Overview:
The Art Services Specialist is directly responsible for assisting in the execution of the national and local Art Services strategy at the Private Bank to drive client engagement, pipeline, and market share. Reporting directly to the Head of Art Services, the Art Services Specialist will be responsible for delivering the full suite of Art Services—art lending, art planning, art consulting, consignment services, arts philanthropic solutions—to clients in conjunction with their internal coverage team. Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs for managing their art-related wealth and identify opportunities by positioning our offering. Create market-level strategies for driving business with art collectors and institutions aligned with national Art Services priorities. Work with market leadership to manage client analytics, art prospect lists, and business development with collectors. Establish proactive outreach to Private Client Advisors, referral sources, and collectors to educate key stakeholders on Art Services capabilities. Cultivate relationships with art collecting clients, prospects, and centers of influence via consistent presence at art market events, gallery openings, auctions, etc. Plan and execute client events around art. Contribute to art-market thought leadership. Proactively develop business initiatives and work as a collaborative member of the Art Services team. Ability to work cross-functionally, managing multiple priorities while delivering results. Commercial acumen, influencing, client coverage. Highly organized. Must have at least 5+ years art business experience in auction house, gallery, appraisal, art advisory, or related field. BS/BA degree, advanced degree strongly preferred.
Required Skills:
- Must have at least 5+ years art business experience, gallery, auction house or art advisory experience required
- Deep knowledge of art ecosystem, commercial art world, and art institutions
- Strong commercial acumen, influencing, and client coverage skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities while driving results
- Demonstrated strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
- BS/BA degree, advanced degree strongly preferred
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
