Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading execution across client and deal teams. Key responsibilities include working with teammates to proactively generate ideas and solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support origination, execution and advisory on various investment banking mandates across industries, such as strategic advisory, buy and sell-side M&A, inclusive of cross-border transactions, and related capital markets processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial research on companies, markets, and industries.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and analyses, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), comparable company and precedent transaction analysis, sum-of-the-parts valuation, cost of capital analysis, accretion/dilution, merger models, ability-to-pay analysis, value creation, operating models, and full three-statement models.
  • Help junior bankers on deal teams, providing guidance on financial modeling, analysis, and preparation of client deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively and manage relationships across internal teams, including product groups and cross-border colleagues, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Perform due diligence and day-to-day execution processes, taking responsibility for timely and accurate execution of multiple mandates at once, and demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Work with the legal team to draft and negotiate legal documentation, including engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
  • Support broader team leadership and development efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related: and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in:
  • Global bank/bulge bracket investment banking transactions;
  • Executing investment banking transactions and processes in a global firm environment, including both domestic and cross-border M&A and capital markets products;
  • Preparing financial analysis, including detailed valuation analysis, such as: LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, M&A and IPO pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis;
  • Conducting due diligence and prepare internal and client materials in connection with investment banking transactions;
  • Preparing materials for clients and participating in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution; and,
  • Leading teams of junior investment bankers to execute transactions, prepare client materials, and manage transaction processes.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • 25% domestic and international travel required, as necessary.

$275,000.00 - $275,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
