Job Description:
This job is responsible for generating ideas and developing solutions to meet client needs. Key responsibilities include serving as the secondary or primary contact/advisor for select clients and is an active member of client and/or deal teams working with senior staff. Job expectations include continuing to develop product and client relationships skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior bankers in identifying and pitching new business opportunities across products and regions.
  • Create various financial analyses, develop and maintain financial models including 3-statement models, firepower analysis and acquisition financing.
  • Perform comprehensive benchmarking analyses to advise clients on appropriate liquidity, minimum cash balance, leverage, fixed versus floating rate mix, capital allocation, and shareholder distributions.
  • Execute and advise on various debt capital markets transactions, syndicated and bilateral loan facilities, convertible debt offerings, hybrid debt offerings, acquisition financing, spin offs/split offs, private placements, and other debt products.
  • Interact with deal team members and product partners.
  • Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings.
  • Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials.
  • Handle several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding / refresh as part of the bank’s Anti-Money Laundering compliance requirements.
  • Conduct research using Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related: and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze client financial stability, for short and long term loans and trade loans including capital structure analysis and assessment of credit quality;
  • Leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to conduct company and industry research to support financial advisory using tools and systems including FactSet and Dealogic;
  • Reviewing credit agreements and indentures to analyze covenants, baskets and other relevant restrictions;
  • Analyzing client needs and identifying cross-sell opportunities to bolster client relationships, generate revenue, and drive product engagement using tools and systems including Refinitiv, Mergermarket, and Capital IQ;
  • Utilizing product knowledge across Credit, Loans, Debt & Equity Capital Markets, GPS, and FX/Rates to strategize with stakeholders in order to promote and sell to clients; and,
  • Utilizing knowledge of Southeast Asia markets and ability to effectively engage internal stakeholders across Asia.
  • 20% domestic travel required, as necessary.

$250,000.00 - $250,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible
