Job Description:

We are looking to add an Associate / VP to our Australia TMT & Gaming Research Team. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing platform advising institutional clients, with a clear pathway to independent coverage in future.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3–5 years of experience in sell-side research, buy-side investing, or investment banking
  • Sector experience in TMT or Gaming is not required
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills
  • High level of ownership (committed to making the effort and all that it entails), self-motivation, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career in financial markets

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain complex financial and valuation models
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control across research outputs
  • Build and maintain industry databases and leading indicators across the coverage universe
  • Analyse company results, industry developments, and news flow to generate investment insights
  • Contribute to and independently author research reports
  • Support corporate and strategic access activities and engagement with institutional clients

Development & Progression

  • Initial focus will be supporting senior analysts across research outputs.
  • Opportunity to take on independent stock coverage within 12–24 months, based on performance.
