Job Description:
The Vice President or Director will be responsible for institutional equity sales coverage, with a focus on Latin American equities, supporting key global institutional clients. The role partners closely with trading, research, and capital markets teams to deliver differentiated market insights, facilitate execution, and deepen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and pension clients, primarily focused on LATAM equity exposure
- Distribute equity research, trade ideas, new issuances, and corporate access to institutional clients
- Partner with Equity Trading & Salestrading to drive execution and liquidity solutions, across a variety of products
- Collaborate with Equity Research, Corporate Access, ECM, Execution Services, and Prime Financing to provide integrated client coverage
- Monitor market developments, macro trends, and company-specific news impacting Latin American equities
- Support client engagement around primary offerings, block trades, and secondary market activity
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, risk, and supervisory requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 7–12+ years of experience in institutional equity sales, equity research, or related markets role
- Strong knowledge of Latin American equity markets and institutional investor landscape
- Proven ability to build and maintain senior client relationships
- Solid understanding of equity trading mechanics and market structure
- Effective communicator with strong commercial judgment
- Experience working in a global markets / investment banking environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
