Job Description:
This job is responsible for assisting with tasks related to the credit process. Key responsibilities include assisting risk activities including, monitoring financial reporting, coordinating the onboarding of clients as the first point of engagement for client teams, and supporting coordination of a systematic execution of the credit process in partnership with managers, specified teams, and operations. Job expectations include working with other Enterprise Credit associates and staying current on the bank's policies, procedures, and systems.
Responsibilities:
Engages with team members to support partnership with teams to manage the bank's portfolio via monitoring financial package collection, maturities, annual reviews/financial analysis summaries, past due payments, and failed covenants
Assists in resolving client needs such as ordering pay-off letters
Assists in risk management by clearing collateral exceptions to reduce the bank's legally binding exposure
Engages in timely and accurate deal coordination through engaging outside counsel to prepare loan documentation, assisting with the completion of pre-close checklists, and connecting with fulfillment to book facilities in the system of record
Required Qualifications:
12+ months of experience with a working knowledge of financial institutions’ credit policies, procedures, and guidelines
Proficiency with MS Office Applications with emphasis on Excel and Word
Well organized and able to work independently with minimal management oversight
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
Prioritize numerous time sensitive and business critical activities
