Process Overview*

The Risk Function Technology (RFT) organization is responsible for the management and delivery of technology for the bank’s enterprise control functions. We also manage GT&O’s business operations, business process and controls, workforce management, Simplify & Improve (SIM) governance, and initiative and master planning processes.

Job Description*

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full‑Stack Developer with strong expertise in NICE Actimize and PL/SQL, who can bridge business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross‑functional development teams to deliver high‑quality, defect‑free solutions in an Agile delivery environment. This role requires deep domain knowledge in Trade Surveillance and Capital Markets domain, strong hands‑on development capability, and the ability to independently drive solutions from requirements through production.

Responsibilities*

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support NICE Actimize applications, including scenario development, rule tuning, alert workflows, and data integrations.
• Perform hands‑on development using PL/SQL, SQL, and Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, validation, integration, and enhancement of surveillance and reporting capabilities alongside Actimize.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure on‑time delivery with zero or minimal defects, adhering to best coding practices, performance standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, defect analysis, and root‑cause investigations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to architectural and design discussions.
• Support UAT, production releases, and post‑deployment issue resolution.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Requirements*

• 7+ years of overall software development experience in enterprise systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with NICE Actimize (Trade Surveillance / Compliance use cases preferred).
• Advanced expertise in PL/SQL and SQL, including performance tuning and handling large data volumes.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including: Data manipulation and analysis (e.g., working with large datasets) , Automation and scripting, Integration with databases and vendor platforms like Actimize
• Building utilities, validation frameworks, and ad‑hoc reporting solutions
• Experience working in Agile delivery models with distributed teams.
• Ability to independently drive design and development with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to Actimize upgrades, migrations, or cloud‑based implementations.
• Experience working in large global financial institutions or regulated environments.

Education*

B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
