Job Description:
The Enterprise Issues Management Technology Team drives the delivery, enhancement and strategic direction of technology solutions to support the Enterprise Issues program. This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate needs into clear user stories, drive agile delivery, and ensure high quality outcomes. The role requires strong experience with backlog refinement, requirements definition, testing strategy and execution, and production support, with the ability to create documentation that supports successful releases and user adoption. They facilitate end to end testing and UAT, manage defects and release readiness, and provide ongoing application support. A forward thinking mindset is essential, with a focus on continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and leveraging tools and automation to reduce risk and improve efficiency.

This job is responsible for providing risk oversight and advice to the Line of Business (LOB) on risk management issues. Key responsibilities include identifying risks to which the LOB is exposed, implementing measures to prevent and mitigate losses, and monitoring risk outcomes. Job expectations may include the ability to recognize all risk categories including credit, market, operational and compliance, as well as directing risk staff or participating in establish risk management procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in establishing risk management procedures and standards
  • Conducts execution of risk framework activities including independent monitoring and testing of controls and risk management processes for the Line of Business (LOB)
  • Liaisons with businesses to understand market trends and impacts on portfolio, using knowledge of stress testing and its applicability to risk categories
  • Ensures adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company
  • Manages risk requests, breach remediations and providing risk effective challenges for front line units
  • Develops risk management analyses, reports, and approval procedures and guidelines on risk limits by type of product and/or transaction
  • User Story Development: collaborates with stakeholders to understand the needs, problems, and can brainstorm/document possible solutions
  • Testing: prepare and execute test cases, understand traceability to story acceptance criteria’s, triage defects, and facilitate user acceptance testing by running demos with stakeholders
  • Enhancement Readiness, Training & Documentation: writing release notes/SOPs and building training materials with clear, audience appropriate communication
  • Testing Strategy & Test Plans per release: Skilled in risk based testing, defining entry/exit criteria, managing regression suites, and coordinating environments/test data; comfortable using Jira and Octane to track plans and results
  • Innovative and Forward Thinking - looks for opportunities to optimize workflows, introduce process efficiencies, and leverage technology or automation to enhance productivity and reduce risk

  • Self Starter with Excellent Follow Up Discipline - works independently with minimal direction. Takes ownership of responsibilities, drives tasks to completion, and ensures stakeholders remain informed throughout execution.
  • Performs Well Under Pressure - thrives in fast paced, deadline-driven environments. Adapts quickly to unexpected events and remains calm and solution-oriented during high-pressure situations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, user-centered design, and creation of process flows, wireframes, or prototypes (e.g., Visio, Figma).
  • Background in managing end to end production support activities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, user support
  • Experience using Jira, Octane or similar tools for backlog, testing, and release tracking.
  • Proven track record of innovation, continuous improvement, and forward-thinking problem solving.
