Rates & Derivatives Trading Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a trading Analyst or Associate to support interest rate derivatives and structured products trading. The role offers exposure to pricing, risk, market analysis, and automation while working closely with senior traders and structurers.
Responsibilities
- Support pricing and risk management for USD rates derivatives and structured products
- Assist with daily P&L reporting, attribution, and risk monitoring
- Maintain volatility, correlation, and market parameter grids
- Support trade lifecycle events (expiries, fixings, cancellations)
- Analyze market data and macro releases to support trade ideas
- Build and maintain basic analytical and automation tools in Python and Excel
- Collaborate with trading, structuring, and risk teams on ad hoc analysis
Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in trading, markets, or a related quantitative role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, or similar; or equivalent work experience
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg
- Working knowledge of Python
- Foundational understanding of fixed income and interest rate products
- Strong attention to detail and interest in financial markets
Preferred
- Exposure to derivatives or structured products
- Experience with P&L or risk reporting
- FINRA licenses
