Job Description:
This job is responsible for the delivery of tactical plans to achieve goals through advanced coding and/or metadata management, providing support and technical leadership for platforms and operations. Key responsibilities include contributing to the design, development, execution and continuous improvement of operational and strategic initiatives to drive cross-channel client & prospect eligibility, targeting, and platform enablement. Job expectations include interacting with senior leaders, providing support and technical expertise for supported platforms.

The Targeting and List Production (TLP) team in the marketing department at Bank of America is searching for qualified individuals to support marketing operations through design, development, and delivery of pre campaign targeting analytics in support of demand generation marketing. 
 
Code Developers interface with Campaign Planners and Program Managers on team TLP to develop both test and production ready list assets to be used for targeted outreach to Bank of America’s customers.  Individuals are responsible for reviewing business requirement documents (BRD), identifying key data sources, converting BRD specifications into code, and developing production ready list assets that will be delivered to a vendor or channel end point within Bank of America.  In addition, each Code Developer is responsible for being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product eligibility parameters of the particular product or service being targeted.  They will also be responsible for understanding the permissible/legal use of the data used for targeting to ensure alignment with all necessary legal/risk/compliance expectations.  
 
The work you and your team produce together will feed targeted list assets into both online and offline channels including Email, Direct Mail, Authenticated Webpage, Authenticated Mobile App, ATM, Monthly Statements, Outbound Call Centers, Inbound Call Centers, Financial Centers and more.  
As a Code Developer on Team TLP, you will have the unique opportunity to learn something about everything in marketing including product parameters, online and offline channel execution, design of experiment (DOE), reporting, and post campaign analytics as you become the Bank’s recognized SME in your specific assigned area of campaign targeting production.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of direct marketing campaign process including DOE construction, campaign design, measurement and tracking

  • Experience working in the financial industry 

  • Willing to question the status quo and take assignments to lead a group of peers on capability improvement initiatives

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors degree

  • MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of banking and financial services industry, or experience with a financial services company

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
