Responsibilities
Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
Utilize multiple architectural components in design and development of client requirements.
Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Master's degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any) or related: and
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using Python, REST API, and Spark/hadoop;
Gathering and translating internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications and business process reengineering;
Utilizing version control systems of Git /Bitbucket and applying to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment; and,
Applying advanced knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases in performing data analysis to research, understand, and drive data solutions.
The Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience.
